        Specific Questions Regarding This Cruise:

Should I purchase trip insurance?

We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance.  Your deposit is fully refundable until final payment is due (early December).  It is after the final payment deadline that you are subject to Royal Carribbean's cancellation policy.  Trip insurance can protect your investment during that period.  In addition, trip insurance can cover trip interruption (the need to leave the cruise sometime in the middle of the trip).  CruiseOne offers a Travel Companion insurance through AIG, which is quite comprehensive.  Trip insurance will be on your invoice until you officially decline coverage.  More information regarding trip insurance will be sent with your confirmation invoice.

How do I arrange airfare for the cruise?

We would recommend that you make your airfare arrangements as soon as possible.  With the rising cost of fuel, I can only anticipate airfares going higher rather than lower over the next couple of months.  If you elect to use your frequent flyer miles for this trip, you will need to make those arrangements with the company providing the air miles.  If you are not using frequent flyer miles and would like some assistance with determining airfares, please contact CruiseOne at (630) 614-4492.  Note:  Given the fact that your cruise is in February, I would highly recommend that you arrive in Tampa a day before your cruise departs.  This will allow for any cancellations or delays due to weather.  If you decide not to arrive early, make sure that your flight will be arriving in Tampa in the early morning on the 21st of February.  Return flights should be scheduled after 11:00 a.m. to allow time to leave the ship, go through customs, and arrive at the airport.

Pre or post stays in Tampa.

Please let CruiseOne know if you are interested in arriving earlier in Tampa or extending your stay in Tampa after the cruise.  Depending on the number of people interested in extending their stay, we will try to arrange a group rate at a hotel.

Do I need to dine with the group or can I choose a different dining time?

The group's dining time has been set to late seating.  This is primarily due to a few of the networking events that will be taking place while onboard.  If, however, you prefer to switch to early dining, just let CruiseOne know at the time of your booking.

Can I dine with my friends?

If you would like to dine with specific guests, let CruiseOne know.  We will do what we can to make that happen, but we can't make any guarantees.

Should I get a passport?

We strongly recommend using a passport - it is your best proof of identity and citizenship when traveling.  The US State Department and United States Immigration determine the correct documents that passengers must have in their possession in order to leave and return to the U.S. It is the passenger's responsibility to check with his/her local immigration offices and/or respective embassies or consulates to determine document requirements. The cruise line will not be responsible if a passenger is denied boarding by local immigration officials for lack of proper documents.

United States and Canadian Citizens:

The passport requirement does NOT apply to U.S. citizens traveling to or returning directly from a U.S. territory.  U.S. citizens returning directly from a U.S. territory are not considered to have left the United States and do not need to present a passport.  U.S. territories include the following: Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Swains Island, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

How can I get a passport?

It is currently taking about 4 weeks to receive a passport after the application has been processed.  There are ways to expedite the process.  Please call me at (630) 614-4492 if you need to expedite the receipt of a passport.  The cost of a passport will be approximately $100 - $125.

There are a couple of ways to obtain a passport:

You will need a passport picture for the application.  You can get a passport picture at the Walgreens across from the Carol Stream Post Office (it is less expensive there) or at the Carol Stream Post office.
